SYDA wins another trophy.
Sports competitions, Mardi Gras parade, Trade stalls and professional entertainment are all included in this weekend get together.
The price for the weekend (Thursday to Sunday included) is £45 less the advance booking discount of £5 if booked before 8th June.
If you wish to camp with your DA at this meet, please follow the instructions given by your own DA.
Using the block booking facility through Dave swift is no longer available. (Block booking closed 12th May as the booking officer has to Steward the THS at Ruswarp that opens on 14th May)
Booking for this meet is not essential as there is an unbooked area reserved for those who just turn up. You can still book using the Yorkshire Region Website but you are not guaranteed a site with SYDA.. https://www.yorkshireregion.co.uk/yorkshire-region-meet-2026
Only those booked via the SYDA block booking will be sited with SYDA at the meet. .

PENNON DESIGN COMPETITION
The following message from Yorkshire Region is for all budding artists or designers or any member who would like to enter a competition to design a pennon for the Yorkshire Region Meet in June.
We are excited to invite you and your members to take part in a creative competition to design the official pennon for this year's Yorkshire Region Meet. The theme for the Meet is "Films".
There are no colour limitations, as the final pennon will be digitally printed.
The winning design will be professionally framed and presented as the competition prize.

The deadline for entries is Friday 15th May. You can email a copy of your design to the Region Secretary at yorksregsec@gmail.com, or alternatively bring it in person to the Yorkshire Region AGM weekend meet at Harrogate R.U.F.C. on 15th May and hand it to any member of the Executive Committee before the Region Council meeting on Saturday morning - https://www.yorkshireregion.co.uk/new-page-1-2-2
